Help Our Little Haisley Through Her Heart Surgery

Haisley Skye was born with a heart condition involving one of her valves. Her doctors have advised that she needs an operation, and our family is asking for help to keep her safe, cared for, and surrounded by love through surgery and recovery.

Our Little Girl Needs Us Now

Haisley’s valve did not close properly after birth, leaving an opening that has become larger over time. Her doctors have now advised surgery to correct the problem. We are waiting for her final surgery date and expect to receive more information on Friday. She may need approximately two days in hospital if everything goes according to plan. Before surgery, she needs to stay out of school for about three weeks and remain as healthy as possible. After surgery, she will also need time at home to recover.

Haisley will need her mother at home before surgery, during recovery, and while she gets strong again.

Her mother will need to resign from her job so she can be there for Haisley throughout this important period.

Transport

Funds will also help with transport to hospital visits, follow up appointments, medication collections, and other essential trips.

Putting Our Pride Aside

As parents, we have always wanted to provide for our children ourselves. We never imagined that we would need to create a fundraiser and ask family, friends, our community, and even people we have never met to help us. But right now, we cannot carry everything alone. We want to focus on Haisley’s health instead of constantly worrying about the next expense. We want her to have the time, care, medication, transport, appointments, and support she needs to heal without our family having to choose between her recovery and our financial responsibilities.
